A tribute to the London black cab, my London Taxi Mood Light captures the charm of one of the capital’s most familiar sights — softly illuminated and turning a corner of your home into a little slice of the city.
There’s something unmistakable about a London black cab. For generations it has been part of the fabric of the capital — weaving through its streets, waiting outside stations and theatres and carrying countless people on journeys through London.
The distinctive black-cab profile, layered detailing and carefully cut windows give the Taxi plenty of character during the day. Switch it on as evening falls and warm light shines through the windows, bringing it to life.
The wooden structure is precision laser-cut, assembled and hand-finished by me in Suffolk, England, with each Taxi made in small batches rather than mass-produced.
Inside, a warm white 3000K LED light creates an inviting glow. The light is dimmable, allowing you to adjust it from subtle background lighting to something brighter depending on the mood of the room.
It is USB powered and supplied with a 1.5 metre lead, giving you flexibility when positioning it around your home. A USB mains adapter is not included.
