Completed in 1859 and home to the Great Clock and the bell we know as Big Ben, Elizabeth Tower has become one of the defining silhouettes of London.
My interpretation is precision laser-cut from wood, assembled and hand-finished by me in Suffolk, England. The tall, elegant structure, architectural detailing and illuminated clock faces give it presence during the day, but it takes on an entirely different character when the light comes on.
Look closely at those clock faces and you’ll notice something particularly meaningful: the hands are set permanently to 3:10.
That is the recorded time of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II on 8 September 2022. I chose to set the clocks to that time as a quiet and respectful tribute to Britain’s longest-reigning monarch — a small detail that gives this interpretation of Elizabeth Tower an additional story.
Inside is a warm-white 2700K LED light, softly illuminating the clock faces and windows. It is operated by a simple on/off switch and is not dimmable. The LED has a rated life of approximately 25,000 hours.
It is USB powered and supplied with a generous 2.5 metre lead, giving you flexibility when deciding where to display it. A USB mains adapter is not included, so it can be connected to a suitable USB power source or adapter you already have.

Each Elizabeth Tower is made in small batches rather than mass-produced, with the final assembly and finishing completed by hand.
For me, this piece brings together the majesty of one of London’s great landmarks, British craftsmanship and a small, personal tribute to an extraordinary period of British history.
